Fleet Maintenance is an ASE Blue Seal Certified department, proudly holding this distinction for 19 consecutive years. Operating within the Community Services division, the department includes four specialized areas of mechanical maintenance: Small Engines and Turf Maintenance, Golf Course Turf Care, Automotive, and Emergency Vehicle Technicians (EVT). These teams maintain a wide range of equipment, from commercial mowers, chain saws, and line-painting machines to police motorcycles, fire trucks, and specialized emergency vehicles. This skilled group ensures the City's parks, golf course, and emergency services are supported with reliable, well-maintained machinery and vehicles.

The City's fleet includes over 590 units, ranging from police and fire vehicles to tractors, trailers, and turf care equipment, plus 35 generators and various hand tools. Services are tracked using advanced fleet asset management software, which monitors inventory, vehicle costs, and technician productivity. In addition, three mobile service trucks support field repairs, helping reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency across departments.
