Art in Public Places Scavenger Hunt
Public art is at the heart of life in Palm Beach Gardens. This year we're celebrating with an Art in Public Places Scavenger Hunt! The hunt takes place from October 6 through October 26, 2025. Here's how to play:
How to Play:
- Visit @CityofPBG social media pages (and this page below) to find scavenger hunt clues. You can find us on Facebook, Instagram and X.
- Each clue includes a zoomed-in photo and a poem that corresponds to an AIPP project in the City.
- Visit the correct AIPP project in person and scan the QR code on the “You Found Me” sign located at the art piece.
- Fill out the form by Sunday, October 26 and select how you wish to collect your prize: in-person at a City-hosted Florida City Week event or by mail.
Resources:
Each of the six artworks in this year’s AIPP Scavenger Hunt has been featured in an issue of Signature City Magazine from over the past decade. A special guide of the magazine articles is available here and includes information about the various works of art, as well as their street addresses. A participant can also visit the Art in Public Places webpage which has an interactive slideshow featuring the AIPP projects in our City to help solve clues.
Clues:
1. In a town square, take a seat,
Where history and comfort meet.
A founding father, calm and wise,
Sits nearby, before your eyes.
Find this historic figure resting there.
On a bench, waiting in the fresh air!
2. Where stories bloom and young minds grow,
There’s a secret garden you might not know.
Not made of petals, but colors and cheer,
A piece of art is waiting near.
3. He dreamed a city full of charm,
With gardens, lakes, and peaceful calm.
By the water, near a place to meet,
A bronze man stands on steady feet.
Where the City meets, your search can start
Find the founder with a guiding heart.
4. Where everyone plays and crowds all cheer,
A special field is very near.
Seek the hands raised toward the sun,
Bronze joy aloft, a game well-won.
5. Round and round, the stories spin,
With gators, manatees, and dolphins’ grins.
A Florida tale on every seat,
This turning treasure can't be beat!
6. It’s not in the ocean, but don’t be fooled,
This creature looks sharp and seriously cool!
On the sidewalk where students walk by,
A Mako waits with a watchful eye.
On a university path, be brave, be smart,
And find this fierce finned work of art!
