Recommended Program Attire

Some programs (but not all) have a recommended attire to wear while participating. Those programs that have a recommended attire are listed below.

Youth Dance Programs

Tu Tu Toddlers / Ballerina Basics / Beginner Ballet: Black or pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes preferred (Bloch or similar good quality shoes)

Jazz: Solid black leotard, Light suntan tights (Capezio convertible preferred), tan split – sole gore boots preferred (Bloch or similar good quality shoes)

Tap: Solid black leotard, light suntan tights, tan strap shoes (Bloch) preferred.

  • These are recreational classes & there is no formal recital.
  • If you have other colors or brands do not be concerned.
  • If you need to purchase items, this should make things easier.
  • Appropriate footwear is strongly recommended.
  • Long hair should always be tied back in a ponytail or bun.
  • Instructors prefer hair firmed up in a tight bun for all ballet classes.
  • Tuck in laces for all laced shoes.

Recommended store to purchase dance attire: Tulle Dance & Fitness, 3962 Northlake Blvd., 561.493.8144, 10% discount for all students.

Youth Gymnastics Programs

What to Wear: Athletes should wear leotards or any form-fitting athletic clothing that allows them to move freely and confidently. Shirts should be long enough to stay tucked in during all activities. All hair must be pulled back and securely tied to ensure safety during class.

What to Avoid: For safety and comfort, please avoid:

  • Loose or flowy clothing, such as skirts or tutus
  • Clothing with hard plastic or metal parts, like large buttons, zippers, or snaps
  • Jewelry, except for small stud earrings

Footwear: All kids will participate barefoot—no socks or shoes needed! This helps them jump, stretch, and tumble safely and comfortably.

For Small & Tall Classes: Parents will also need to remove their shoes before class. Socks are optional. Going barefoot isn’t required, so wear socks if you’d like.
