Multi-Family Improvement Grant
The Multifamily Home Improvement Grant Program is funded with money from the City’s Workforce Housing Fund. The Workforce Housing Fund is funded solely by developer contributions.

Multi-Family Improvement Grant
Awards will be determined based on the requested funding, and availability of funds. Awards will range between a minimum of $250,000, and $1,000,000.

Multifamily communities (condominiums, apartments, or “quads”/townhomes) shown on the map were selected based on Census data (such as location within or in close proximity to low to moderate income blocks) and age of the community. Not all multifamily communities are shown on this map.

It is expected for the Selection Committee to finalize the ranking of projects for assistance in August 2026.

Multi-Family Improvement Grant
The City has established a pool of qualified contractors to perform construction work under the Workforce Housing Fund Program by openly advertising a formal solicitation to create a pool of licensed contractors to construct the agreed upon improvements. The pool remains open for additional contractors to be added. All contractors must meet the City’s insurance, bonding, experience, and licensing requirements to perform construction work under this program.

The applicants will be notified regarding their ranking. City staff will fully manage the construction project. The City will issue a series of requests for quotations/spot pricing in the order of the application rankings. The lowest bidder will be selected. Upon selection of a contractor, the Applicant, City and Contractor will enter into a tri-party agreement that establishes specific parameters such as the final scope of work, timeframes, match payments, and maintenance of the selected improvements.
