Burns Road Community Center Construction - We Are Still Here For You!

As of August 18, the Burns Road Community Center has closed to prepare for renovations. During the closure, the Recreation Department will continue to offer programs at various City facilities, including Mirasol Park (12385 Jog Road) and Lakeside Center (10410 N. Military Trail). The administrative offices and service desk will be temporarily moved to the Lakeside Center and will operate Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Recreation phone numbers and emails will remain the same during the project. This isn’t goodbye to the Burns Road Community Center! It’s a “hello” to all the wonderful opportunities this new facility will offer future generations.

Pool Updates

Saturday, August 26 was the last day of the Competition Pool’s operation until further notice due to construction.
August 28-September 1 – Main Pool & Splash Zone will be closed for maintenance.

Competition Pool Construction FAQ's

Where will I swim laps while the comp pool is under construction? Lap lanes will be available in the main pool. Please refer to our Hours of Operation page for the most up-to-date schedule.
How long will the comp pool be closed? The competition pool will close on Monday, August 28 and the anticipated construction will be completed this winter.
What happens to my lap swim pass during the construction? Three (3) month lap swim passes will be given one-month free if bought or renewed before the re-opening of the comp pool. This only applies to passes that are new or renewing during the closure. Passes cannot be purchased in advance to take advantage of this offer.
