Burns Road Community Center Construction.

Burns Road Community Center Construction - We Are Still Here For You!

Starting Sunday, August 20, the Burns Road Community Center will be closed to prepare for renovations. During the closure, the Recreation Department will continue to offer programs at various City facilities, including Mirasol Park and Lakeside Center. The administrative offices and service desk will be temporarily moved to the Lakeside Center and will operate Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Recreation phone numbers and emails will remain the same during the project. This isn’t goodbye to the Burns Road Community Center! It’s a “hello” to all the wonderful opportunities this new facility will offer future generations.



Important update to lap swim hours.

Pool Updates

  • Starting August 10, the Main Pool and Splash Zone will be closed Monday – Friday. August 12-27, the Main/Splash Pools will be open Saturday and Sunday only (11:00am-6:00pm Saturday, 3:00pm-6:00pm Sunday). Lap Swim hours will remain the same at the Competition Pool during this time.
  • Saturday, August 26 will be the last day of Competition Pool’s operation until further notice due to construction. 
  • August 28-September 1 – Main Pool & Splash Zone will be closed for maintenance.

September 2

  • Lap Swim at Main............................................7:00am–10:30am
  • Open Swim at Main and Splash.......................11:00am-6:00pm

September 3

  • Open Swim at Main and Splash........................12:00pm-6:00pm

September 4 

  • Lap Swim at Main..............................................7:00am–10:30am
  • Open Swim at Main and Splash........................11:00am-5:00pm
  • *No aqua fitness classes

September 5

  • Fall Schedule begins.

The Gardens GreenMarket features live entertainment, produce, plants, flowers, handmade crafts, prepared foods & MORE. Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center will be on site every third Sunday offering FREE blood pressure screenings. Our market is rain or shine; please leave pets at home.

Permitters and users of the Aquatic Complex, baseball, softball, and multipurpose fields can now get text and/or email alerts on delays or closures to those facilities!
