Today, Palm Beach Gardens Police Chief Clint Shannon has retired, passing the baton to the City’s new Chief of Police, Dominick Pape. Chief Shannon has served our City for 13 years and has been working in law enforcement for 45 years. We are so thankful for his service and wish him the best as he enters this new chapter of life and enjoys his well-deserved retirement.
City Manager Ron Ferris has tapped Chief Dominick Pape to lead the Department following Chief Shannon’s retirement. Chief Pape first started working in law enforcement in 1982. He came to PBGPD in 2015 as a Police Major overseeing the Investigations Bureau. Three years later, he was promoted to Assistant Chief of Police for the Investigations/Administrative Division. We look forward to seeing him continue serving our community in his new role.
