Personal:

Chelsea Reed is an award-winning leader with decades of experience in business development and philanthropy. She is the Managing Director of Corporate Development of Republic Capital Group, Principal Consultant for Smith Reed Partners, and is proud to have been the longest consecutively reappointed Mayor of the City of Palm Beach Gardens.

She is the 2024 Outstanding Community Partner Award Winner for the Community Transportation Association of America, the 2024 Florida Commission for Transportation Disadvantaged 2024 Local Elected Official of the Year, the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient for the Benjamin School, a Home Rule Hero Award from Florida League of Cities for 2024 & 2023, the 2022 Public Sector Leadership Excellence Award Winner, the 2022 Complete Streets Champion for Palm Beach County, and was 1 of 20 nationally chosen elected officials for the 2021-22 Smart Growth America Champions Institute. She was chosen as one of the 2024 and 2023 Palm Beach 100 - Palm Beach County’s Most Influential Business Leaders by Palm Beach Illustrated. She chairs several boards focused on transportation, sustainability, smart growth, and leadership.

She also enjoys providing student and professional mentorship and is a frequent public speaker and panelist. Chelsea and her husband, Michael, raised two children and built their careers in Palm Beach County.
