Scheduling Inspections
Upon payment of outstanding fees and permit issuance, Civic Access will allow for scheduling inspections depending on the permit application submitted. This guide will cover a couple different places where those inspections can be scheduled.
From the RecordOnce the permit has been issued and all fees paid, there are two places inspection can be accessed on your record. | ||
| 1. | After logging into Civic Access, click the All Records menu. | |
| 2. | Select the My Permits tab. | |
| 3. | Using the filter features, find your record in the list and click the permit number link. | |
| 4. | OPTION 1 - On the Summary tab under Available actions, click the Request button next to any inspection you wish to schedule and follow the instruction (found below). **inspection options will vary based on permit type** | |
| 5. | Complete all fields in the Request Inspection window, scroll to the bottom, and click the Request button. | |
| 6. | OPTION 2 – Click the Inspections tab. | |
| 7. | Under the Request Inspections tab, click the check box for the inspections to be scheduled. | |
| 8. | Click Request button. | |
| 9. | Complete all fields in the Request Inspection window, scroll to the bottom, and click the Request button | |
| 10. | Scroll down and click the Request button. | |
From the Today's Inspections PageAdditionally, Civic Access provides a Today's Inspections page that provides single screen listing all inspections available for the current day (or different date) from all applications that you may have submitted. | ||
| 1. | After logging into Civic Access, click the Today’s Inspections menu. | |
| 2. | Using the date picker, select the date when the inspections were scheduled. | |
| 3. | Select the inspection number under the View Inspection column to open the inspection record. | |
| 4. | The summary section will list various information concerning the inspection such as requested, scheduled, and completed date/time and the inspection status. | |
| 5. | The More Info tab will list all contacts and the location of the inspection. | |
From the Request Inspections PageFrom within the All Records screen, Civic Access provides a listing of all open records that have inspections available for scheduling. | ||
| 1. | Select the All Records tab. | |
| 2. | Click Request Inspections. | |
| 3. | Check the box next to the inspection(s) that require scheduling and click the Request Inspections button. | |
| 4. | In the Request Inspections screen, for each inspection that was selected click the date picker icon, select the date to schedule an inspection, and provide comments (if applicable). | |
| 5. | When completed, click the Submit button for each inspection. | |
