Forgot Password

The City’s online customer portal, Civic Access, will allow you to submit applications for various city services as well as receive approval without having to leave the comfort of your home or office.  In this guide, we will cover how to change your password in the event you are unable to login.

Navigate to the Civic Access home page (URL below) and click the Login or Register link in the top right of the screen.

2.The following notification will display explaining that the site's identity provider will be used to login.  Click Continue.create-portal-account-01b
3.Type your email address in the field provided and click Next.forgot-password-02
4.Click the "Forgot password?" link.forgot-password-03
5.When the Verify with your email screen is displayed (DO NOT CLOSE THIS SCREEN), leave this open and reference the email sent to the inbox of the address provided above from another window or tab within your browser.  The email will look similar to this screenshot.forgot-password-05
6.Copy the code found in the email, navigate back to the Verify with your email screen, and paste the code in the Enter Code field.  Click Verify.forgot-password-06
7.Enter a new password using the fields displayed ensuring to follow all password requirements provided.forgot-password-07
8.COMPLETE!  If the password reset was performed successfully, the browser window will refresh to the Civic Access portal home page.  forgot-password-08
